With a prequalification letter from a reputable lender, a Buyer can show a Seller that he or she is a great candidate to purchase the home in consideration.

 

Furthermore, a Seller may be more flexible in their negotiations. After all, a strong prequalification letter sends a message to the Seller that this is a “solid deal.”

 

Consulting with a reputable lender has another distinct advantage. Doing so helps a Buyer better understand the costs involved with a purchase, including interest rates, taxes, insurance and monthly payments.

 

By getting a prequalification letter from a reputable lender, a Buyer will have taken an important step towards home ownership.
