O.K.
You’ve compiled a list of everything you need in
a home to make you happy.
Now
it’s time to start shopping.
You
quickly realize that finding exactly what you
want isn’t as easy as you originally imagined.
Some homes don’t have the required square
footage. Others don’t have that swimming pool
you’ve been yearning for.
So,
you pass those opportunities by, never taking
them into serious consideration.
But
is that the best strategy? Of course if you
need 5 bedrooms, you probably shouldn’t waste
your time with a 2 bedroom home.
But
what if the home you overlooked was just a bit
smaller than you originally wanted? Maybe it
had a great floor plan.
Or
maybe you passed over a home that was priced a
little high. Perhaps the owners would have been
willing to work with you on the price.
In reality, no home
is perfect. Buying one will take a series of
compromises. Being open minded when deciding to
purchase a home is one of the golden rules for
achieving happiness.
